The film explores the darker side of social networking. It’s set on a luxury private plane where the four passengers are under the impression that they have won an all expenses paid trip to New York, courtesy of Facebook equivalent all2gethr.com.

Forced to give up their mobile phones for the duration of the flight the passengers are greeted upon take-off, by the face of a talking alligator on the television monitors. The sinister alligator introduces them to the in-flight entertainment: a game based on their internet habits. Eager to play with the mention of expensive prizes, the contestants agree to partake in the game, which is soon to become an unrelenting nightmare at 30,000 feet.

The film, dubbed ‘SAW on a Lear jet’ is smart and fresh with a tight script and left us a little bit nervous of using Facebook.

You can buy the Blu-ray here and DVD from here, the film will be available on iTunes soon!

Apple is to announce a European rollout of the music storage service iCloud, with the U.K. expected to be the first major market outside the U.S. to get authorization.

Industry sources also indicated that Apple would discontinue the iPod Classic, which launched 10 years ago this month, as it focuses on a new generation of Internet-connected devices.

The expansion of “iTunes in the Cloud” from the US, where it was made available in the US in June, will allow people who have bought songs from Apple’s iTunes Music Store to synchronize them among multiple devices such as PCs, iPhones and iPads via wireless connections. Previously they would have to connect them to a computer and synchronize them.

The technology giant has been locked in negotiations with the four major music groups—EMI, Sony (NYSE: SNE), Warner and Universal—to seal the “iTunes in the Cloud” deal in time for Tuesday’s announcement.

“Apple has been sitting at tables to get this through, as opposed to Amazon (NSDQ: AMZN) and Google (NSDQ: GOOG) who have just been seeing how much they can get away with,” said one person with knowledge of Apple’s plans. Amazon and Google launched their own “music locker” schemes in the US, letting people store their music online, but there is little evidence that they have seen any broad takeup. Neither service is available outside the US

After digging up most of Britain, Tony Robinson will now sift through the island nation’s history.

To begin his story, Tony examines how Australia was firmly established as a Western colony, no matter what it took.

Over six fascinating episodes Tony retraces the steps of the earliest explorers, delves into the harrowing stories of the early days of white settlement, finds out how the indigenous Australians responded to their invaders and looks at the turning points in Australia’s development.

The programmes also explore the influence of multi-culturalism and two world wars on Australia’s relationship to Britain – the Mother Country.

If you missed this on The History Channel, then you’ll be pleased to know the series is on iTunes courtesy of our client DCD Rights, and re:fine.

Fire in Babylon is the breathtaking story of how the West Indies triumphed over its colonial masters through the achievements of one of the most gifted teams in sporting history.

In a turbulent era of apartheid in South Africa; race riots in England and civil unrest in the Caribbean, the West Indian cricketers, led by the enigmatic Viv Richards, struck a defiant blow at the forces of white prejudice worldwide. Their undisputed skill, combined with a fearless spirit, allowed them to dominate the genteel game at the highest level, replaying it on their own terms.

This is their story, told in their own words – and here is where you can buy it or download it

Based on the hugely successful biography of the same name Mr Nice tells the incredible story of the life of Howard Marks – ‘the world’s most sophisticated drug smuggler’ .

At the height of his powers Marks had 43 aliases, eighty nine phone lines and owned twenty five companies trading throughout the world, whilst simultaneously smuggling consignments of up to 30 tonnes of marijuana and keeping contacts with organisations as diverse as MI6, the CIA, the IRA and the Mafia.

Mr Nice stars Rhys Ifans as Marks and Chloe Sevigny as his trusting wife Judy. Marks is shown to be an intelligent, hard-working man whose journey takes him the across the world, from hashish farms in Pakistan and Afghanistan to the dreary insides of a German prison. The brilliant yet traumatic final twenty minutes of the film adequately sum up a man’s life, who is most probably one of the most intelligent drug smugglers to have ever lived. Worth watching on any platform.

You can pre-order Mr Nice from iTunes here

The Sanctuary and it’s staff offer protection to the Abnormals, a non-human, intelligent population of strange and sometimes terrifying beings that hide among humans. Magnus and her team try to help and learn from them, while also having to contain the more dangerous ones.

The show had interesting beginnings as it was picked up by cable channel Syfy after the success of an eight webisode series released on the internet in 2007.

In terms of production, Sanctuary blazes a trail across the TV landscape with never-before-seen production technology. Sanctuary is the first series to be shot extensively on green screen, using virtual sets and extraordinary visual effects.

The HD files, artwork and metadata were delivered to the platform this month and will be available in early November.

The critically acclaimed show sees Herring attempt to reclaim the toothbrush moustache ‘for comedy’ by seeing how people respond to the contentious face furniture as it is growing out of his face.

The show that examines iconography, the way we judge and are judged, the dangers of political apathy, the point where comedy and madness touch and the very ethics of such a comedy stunt. Is it worth Herring upsetting strangers, risking physical and psychological damage and ruining his parent’s Golden Wedding photos for the sake of a stand up show?
As a starting point, why not talk to us about making your content available on iTunes. We offer the complete iTunes package from pitching, negotiation & processing to delivery, revenue collection & royalty payments. We also have relationships in place with many of the top digital platforms around the globe.

It really works – one of our clients, an independent UK film producer, spent £300 on content processing for a new release onto iTunes, and grossed over £3,000 in the first month.

And if anyone is experiencing hope this month it’s Carey Mulligan. British newcomer Mulligan stars in the Oscar-nominated An Education, playing a schoolgirl who has a destructive affair with an older man, practically ruining her chances at a higher education. Mulligan won this year’s BAFTA for best actress and has been nominated for Best Actress at the Oscars, so a lot of hopes rest on March 7th for the team behind An Education. See it the day after – it’s released on iTunes on March 8th.
