re:fine has struck a deal with the UK’s independent distributor DCD Rights to provide content processing services, including library storage, tape dubbing, and digital distribution.
Under the terms of the deal, re:fine and DCD Rights will be working together for an exclusive 3 year period on future storage and digital distribution, including 2500 hours of top music, entertainment, and factual content.
DCD Rights is employing re:fine to facilitate its proactive move into digital distribution, taking advantage of the economies of scale associated with this method of global servicing.

This month re:fine has managed content from the astonishing Volvo Ocean Race yachting event, including library storage of the Volvo Ocean Race’s 8000 tape library and digitization. In addition, re:fine will also help service all additional tape and digital requirements from programme creation to clips for broadcasters, making files available from re:fine’s digital storage.

The Volvo Ocean Race archive is the latest tape library to come under management at re:fine. The 4,500 tapes contain archive footage from the incredible race’s thirty year history.
